Emotional collapse
She has beautiful yet distant eyes,
Staring in apathy at everyone in her sight,
She doesn't speak neither smile nor cry,
She just stays there, on a borrowed wheelchair,
And if she didn't she wouldn't care.
She is diagnosed with an emotional collapse,
A broken heart pathology contracted since his left,
She lives in a world made up to keep him back,
I miss her, though she never seems to remember that.
Every day I come to visit her I struggle to not give in,
To help in her recovery I have taken my violin,
Hoping that those notes will eventually touch her deep,
And rescue her from the hands of the monster she refuses to leave.
